Recently my computer started getting this crazy g6_auth_nt.dll error message. Every time I went to check
my e-mail, I would get "g6_auth_nt.dll File Not Found." I would just close it out, go on, and read my e-mail. Sure, it was annoying but it didn't stop me from doing anything.
As time passed, my computer started running slower and slower. I thought it had to be connected to this crazy "g6_auth_nt.dll File Not Found" error that I was getting. Therefore, I decided it was about time to start doing something about this error.
Researching the error message
Wouldn't you know it? I go online and when I Google g6_auth_nt.dll, all I find is technical mumbo jumbo. This is what I find:
Name
o g6_auth_nt.dll
Created by:
o Gene6
Part of:
o Unknown
Typical Errors:
o File Not Found, Missing File, Exception Errors
Common Path(s):
o %programfiles%\gene6 ftp server\plugins
A lot of good that does me. What am I supposed to do with that information? They might as well be speaking a foreign language. I have no idea what any of that means or what to do with that and all the sites say the same exact thing. Frustrated, I give up and let the error sit.
My Computer Crashes
Now, I do not know if it is the g6_auth_nt.dll error or another error, but my computer pops up with a "File Not Found," then goes to a blue screen, and shuts down. I call up my friend and she tells me that I have the suffered from the infamous "Blue Screen of Death." She tells me about bluepenguinsoftware.com/regzooka/ and suggests I go there for my error message.
The solution to my registry is found
When I go to that website for a solution to my problem, at first I was a little discouraged. The first thing I noticed was the mumbo jumbo. They, too, had the technical garbage, just like all the other sites. However, they also had actual stuff I understood. They were able to help me fix my computer and get it back to running like new again. I was so happy that I actually bookmarked the site so I could go back there if I ever have errors again. It was the only place that explained the error instead of just giving me all the technical stuff and no explanation of what it all meant.
